Our story

Reuben Gillette is the owner of Ascent Installations, bringing over a decade of hands-on experience in window tint and paint protection film from coast-to-coast. He began his career as a vinyl graphics installer in a Portland, Oregon shop, and a passion for sunshine—along with his wife—led them to Colorado and then to Nebraska, where Reuben owned and operated Pioneer Tint & Clearbra. After selling the shop, they moved back to Colorado to be closer to the mountains and their favorite outdoor pursuits. Reuben and his wife love camping and traveling in their Airstream, and you’ll often find them riverside with a fly rod in hand and their basset hound curled up at their feet.
